IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA Derby 2025

Cremona, March 28 — The Non Pro finals of the 38th Quarter Dream $317,300-Added IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA Derby, an event with 600 horses participating and 180 registered in both the Open and Non Pro section of the Derby, did not disappoint!!!

The Level 1 winner for both the IRHA-IRHBA and IRHA was Manuele Bonzano with Mr Shines (NRHA 3 Million Dollar Shine Chic Shine x The Electric Sparkle), a 6-year-old gelding owned by 23 QH and bred by Alois Kompatscher.

The pair took the IRHA-IRHBA and IRHA Level 2 and IRHA Youth 14-18 Derby titles with a score of 216.5. "I'm really happy with this win, my horse was amazing during the whole show. I've been riding him for two years and he's always improving; I'm really lucky to have him. I would like to thank my entire team, my trainer Alessandro Pinto, my father and especially my family."

Manuel Bonzano and Shining Guns N Roses (NRHA 3 Million Dollar Sire Colonels Shining Gun x Roses For Einstein), a 5-year-old mare owned and bred by 23 Quarter Horses, scored a 217 for the IRHA Prime Time Non Pro Derby win. "I'm really happy for my son Manuele, he was extraordinary and he moved me deeply," Bonzano said. "After seeing his performance, I was less focused on my run; his show gave me an extraordinary emotion. The mare I rode has great maneuvers, and lately we have finally managed to find the right way to handle her at best."
